At Afghanistan Red Gold Saffron Company, we are committed to sustainable development and improving the livelihoods of farmers. One of the key steps we take in this regard is organizing annual training seminars on saffron cultivation and organic saffron production. The goal of these training sessions is to familiarize farmers with the best practices for organic saffron cultivation, so that both the quality of the product improves and the lives and livelihoods of the farmers are enhanced. These seminars help farmers cultivate saffron in a more sustainable and productive manner.
In addition to training, we provide a range of essential tools for saffron processing to farmers. These equipment help farmers process their products with higher quality and in a standardized manner, ultimately leading to increased income. Given the importance of agriculture in Afghanistan, last year we distributed saffron bulbs to 1,200 interested farmers in the Mazar-e-Sharif province. This initiative contributed to expanding saffron cultivation in new areas and boosting agricultural productivity
In addition to training and equipment distribution, we provide specialized technical consulting for farmers. In our laboratories, we conduct soil tests before saffron cultivation to provide farmers with accurate information about the soil conditions of their land, helping them start the planting process with better insights. These technical consultations assist farmers in managing their resources effectively using optimized methods, leading to increased productivity.
Our commitment to farmers goes beyond cultivation and production; we also focus on their overall well-being and development. We strive to create opportunities for their progress through education, equipment, and technical consulting, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to thrive.
