company was established in 2002 by the Rahmati brothers in the field of saffron cultivation, production, and export. Through the efforts of the shareholders, the company was able to overcome the challenges facing saffron exports from Afghanistan and establish itself as the largest exporter of Afghan saffron globally.Since 2011, the company has been recognized as the top exporter by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry, and the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce (ACCI). Afghanistan Red Gold Saffron Company has also earned international certifications, including HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and FDA USA, by meeting global quality and quantity standards.
The company collects the hard-earned saffron from dedicated Afghan farmers, tests it in its equipped laboratory according to the highest global standards, and exports more than 18,000 kilograms of premium Afghan saffron annually to countries such as:
the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Spain, Indonesia, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Austria, Bahrain, Brazil, Bulgaria, Turkey, Tajikistan, China, Sweden, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Oman, France, Canada, Norway, Vietnam, India, and Hong Kong.
